Does it still tell you if the message DIDN'T go through?

yes, that's the benefit of it. Still tells you if a msg failed, then it will give you an option to resend. Notifying me when the msg is sent is USELESS.

Yeah that would be me. I don't want to mess with my registry. I haven't tweaked a registry since I was in computer school working on a Win 98 machine.
