Re: voice command not announcing incoming calls

I don't have a TP but what you guys might look at is trying the audiopara.csv off a diamond.

Re: voice command not announcing incoming calls

MSVC have always had problems...On my mogul...VC only announces texts/picturemail and some email...sometimes. No rhyme or reason...so wait I will for it to work properly on my TP now.

Re: voice command not announcing incoming calls

MSVC is working perfectly in my TP after making the regedits listed earlier in this thread.

It even announces incoming calls through my S9 BT headset.

I am using the vz leaked ROM so that may have something to do with it (I am using a Sprint TP on vz service)

I have verizon service (I dumped sprint because their service sucked). I bought the sprint version of the touch pro however (because sprint definitely has the coolest phones) & then activated it as a verizon phone.

Re: voice command not announcing incoming calls

Heres and update via Email I got from HTC yesterday, thought I would share:

Hello Mike,

Thank you for your inquiry about the Voice Command feature on your Touch Pro.

I understand how important it is that voice command announce incoming calls. I have been seeing this issue with other customers using the Sprint Touch Pro. Currently, we are looking into a resolution for this issue. Any software fix for this issue will be hosted on our support page.

I can add your device to our ongoing investigation if you would like. In order for me to do that, I will need your device's serial number and ESN (beginning with "A").

Mike, I hope we have answered your question in detail. Feel free to contact us again if you have any further questions.

Re: voice command not announcing incoming calls

When I first got my TP, these regedits worked great. I like the announce the incoming call feature & always had it working in my old Titan.

I messed up the TP & did a hard reset & now I can't get the feature to work again........

Re: voice command not announcing incoming calls

I'm always a little sketchy on making changes to the registry. First off, how do I access the registry on my Touch Pro? Second, once I access the registry, will these files overwrite existing files, or do i manually type in the new ones. Appriciate all your guys help and support.
