You can always get the aerial battery indicator. It's just an exe file that you put in the startup and it will show on every screen and you can actually position it wherever you want on the top bar.

Re: battery meter with percentages

Does the Vista Hide and Batti move everything down, thus reducing space on your screen by 3 pixels or does it use 'unused' pixels at the top, which seem to already be there, but just have black color on my task bar at the top?

I am concerned about it using up some of my screen's real estate that is limited.

When I tried increasing it to a larger number, it actually is significant. For those that aren't familiary with batti, you can adjust how much from the left margin it shows and also the horizontal height.

I posted screen shots in the today screen thread:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=216

If you look at my first pic in that post, you'll see the batti indicator at the top (customized color for my personal taste). Dark blue portion on the left is the charging meter (background) and Light blue portion on the right is the full battery indicator (foreground). Once it reaches full charge, the entire bar turns green.

Re: battery meter with percentages

I tried Batti, but I noticed while viewing CPU activity, Batti was consistantly using 13% all the time. Off it went.

Re: battery meter with percentages

So, this DOES use some pixels at the top. I see that there are some unused pixels that could be reallocated to Batti or VistaHide though.

Where would the percent usage show up if I use either Batti or VistaHide? I am leaning towards Batti for its additional functionality, but if it is using up more resources, then I would have to think about that.

Plus +1. Very small app. Works great as well. Doesn't drain the battery. Written in native code.
