Re: Best GPS Mapping Software
I really like whatever comes with the phone. Of course I don't have to pay the monthly fee on the service. I would like osmething that didn't require the internet, as the battery just gets destroyed, but I need the space on my SD card too.

In Google Maps select the Options menu, then GPS Setting. Change the options to "Set Manually" and then use the first drop down menu to select COM4. The port that you select should match the COM port that shows in the settings for "External GPS" in the "System" tab in the settings panel. Now back to the menu, select "Use GPS" and it works for me. |
Re: Best GPS Mapping Software
I dont have the TP or diamond but try AmazeGps. I have it on the touch and it's great for my needs. Voice turn by turn, 3d maps, arial view etc, try it out if it doesnt work uninstall it.

Re: Best GPS Mapping Software
the best so far is TOM TOM 7 is amazing... no network connection= not a problem.. you have the maps saved on your sd card or internal storage so no need for signal just gps signal needed
