Sprint Touch Pro Stock Screen Protector a Major PITA to install

WTF, HTC. Could you have given at least a fraction of a millimeter of breathing room around the screen protector? The chrome bezel is raised a fraction of a millimeter, so if you do not perfectly install the screen protector, one of the sides won't fully adhere to the surface of the screen, leaving a huge "air bubble gap" on one side.

I ended up screwing up my screen protector and throwing it out. I'm pretty anal and good about installing screen protectors, but this is ridiculous.

When you install, start from the left or right side (not the top or bottom), and line it up perfectly, use a magnifying glass or something when looking, because it has to line up within a fraction of a millimeter.

Had the same issue...could not get it on without the air pocket on the side. Eventually had to trash it.

Didn't even know there was one in the box, so thanks for the tip-off. Sadly my install didn't go perfectly, either. Got a couple bubbles I managed to work out (except for one tiny one with a speck of dust under it). It'll do until I can get one from Boxwave, though.

Same with the Diamond, the one from Boxwave (Crystal Clear) fits like a glove! Hopefully they will come out with a Pro one for you guys. (if its not the same as Diamond)

LOL, yeah. I'm an old pro with that nekkid in the steamy bathroom trick. But I didn't realize I'd need to use my magnifying loop to line it up perfectly.

I wasn't sure if the one on their site was for the GSM version or the Sprint CDMA version, so I stayed away. I thought there might have been some slight difference in layout or size, was I wrong in my assumption?

Compare photos of the GSM and CDMA versions of the phone. They're extremely different in edge shape. Then look at the Boxwave photo, and you'll see it's definitely the CDMA version.
