What apps use hardware keyboard?

Can the hardware kb be used whenever you need to type or is it limited to just some programs? Very few programs work on my diamond when I turn it to landscape view.

Yes, the hardware keyboard can be used in any application.

He was making a comparison. Re-read it, you'll see. On the Mogul, and likely on the TP, anything that requires typing can be done on-screen or using the keyboard

he states he has a diamond. i guess question is about the pro then? well either way, somethings wrong with his diamond then. my kb works on all apps. i guess i get it now. well maybe.

He is asking about the pro, the very first question mentions hardware keyboard, does the diamond have a hardware keyboard? He was comparing the diamond he has now to the pro.

He's asking about the keyboard, which is on a Pro, to decide whether its worth upgrading from the Diamond. To the actual question, most programs I use work in landscape- Quicken, Slingplayer, outlook, Opera. You might be better off asking about a specific program
