Re: Gps Fix???
Well gps is more of a line of site type of thing so in most cases if not all you will get a faster lock outside than inside. In my house I can get a lock pretty quick but at my job, which is a massive concrete and steel structure, there is no way for me to get a lock inside. Like being around very tall buildings like in new york you may have some gps issues since line of site is obstructed by all the tall buildings. So I think you are fine.

This is like setting up a satellite dish inside your house and expecting to get all the channels. You need a view of outside. A lot of people have issues, but never post what they are doing that causes it. 9 out of 10 times its an ID10T error. If it works outside, you are fine. Thats the way the device was designed. You don't exactly need GPS to know where you are inside a building. Sigh.. No I am not mean, just honest. It gets old people buying a device they know nothing about and saying how it sucks cause this doesn't work and that doesn't work when the device was well made and really doesn't have all the issues that everyone says it has. Like how the battery sucks.. well its a new device and you haven't put it down for 5 minutes out of the 24 hours you have been using it straight. Of course its going to kill the battery. Most of this doesn't apply to you hotboy8628, I am just ranting.. but the manual really does have some good info. Im sorry if I am comming across as really rude. I'm not sure why you aren't running QuickGPS (it's in your programs) when so many people have mentioned it... |
