The windows OK button doesnt close apps normally though so they should still be running in the background. Unless you installed a program that tells it to close the app when you hit OK. I know Qmenu has that option.

I do miss the Window button though. Has anyone been able to use AEButton Plus to program it to the Home button?

Re: Miss My "OK" Button

Just to confirm that the back button is the OK button, I went to Settings> Today and unchecked Touchflo 3d and hit the back button and Tf3d became disabled.

So, in other words, exactly the same as the OK button. The OK button never closed the app, it just minimizes it. The longest-known flaw in Windows Mobile history.

And are people seriously questioning whether the back button is the OK button? Use it for ten seconds and it's pretty darn clear. HTC designed a few of their apps so that OK apparently closes the new page making it feel like it's back, but in everything else it clearly acts as the OK button.

I think the longest known flaw was that the X button didnt close programs. hehe. Anyway thanks for the back button input. Hopefully that will put this question to rest.

Re: Miss My "OK" Button

Yea I learned the back button is the ok button when I got the phone but it seems the Home button is technically the start button to..... only its like htc used a .dll or something to make it just open the today screen rather then opening the start menu for the sake of touchflo3d.... this wouldn't be unusual... its similar to htc's REPLY ALL OutlookEnhancement.dll ... but I'm just assuming its a simple dll that if disabled would fix this...

Re: Miss My "OK" Button

It would be great to be able to map the back button so that it worked the same as the Mogul's side OK. Where it does OK unless you're already at the today screen when it works as a windows button. Does anyone know how that button was setup?
