how to turn vibrate off

is there anyway to make the phone not vibrate everytime a text message is sent? also is there a blinking LED on the TP an how do u activate it

There is no led at the top, that is a light sensor.

Dont know about the vibration thing yet,but there is no LED that blinks..The little thing you see up by the ear piece,from what I read,is the light sensor.The notification lights you are referring to are just the ones on the bottom panel
