Thanks! My first post here and I am really glad this fixed the extremely low stock volume of the earpiece. Easy enough.
Though I must say I downloaded the full volume boost, it's not extremely loud as you describe, but definitely a huge improvement.

The lite version made no difference to me and my girlfriend's Diamond is still much louder with no changes applied to it. I'm trying the loud version file right now.

I have a HTC Pro and when I try to copy the Audiopara3.csv file from my computer's HD to the phone I get "Permission Denied, since the csv file is a Read-only system file". How to go about this?
PS: I tired both the .cab files and no change in the volume whaatsoever...its frustrating that after you spend so much money this is the stuff we get!!! Last edited by homersimpson77; 01-31-2009 at 02:38 PM.

I finally decided to install this both - the lite and loud and saw no difference. Interesting how it helps some and not others. I installed the .cab version.
My phone was useable before but the speaker was low and still is. Oh well... ideas?

I been reading the forum and was wondering if this works on the volume of the ringtone as well. I have no problems when i answer the phone its hearing the phone ring that bothers me..i cant hear the phone ring or even when i use the alarm. Will this boost the ringtone volume as well ?
