Re: TWEAKED Audiopara.csv louder earpeice, spkphone, and BLUETOOTH WORKING!!!
O.K.,
Walk me through this if you can. I am trying to get my blue tooth or any headphone volume boosted. I have a new Sprint Touch Pro (ROM 1.03.651.4) I have downloaded the files: AudioPara3.csv Badboy8813 Audio Fix- (Full Volume).cab Badboy8813 AudioFix- (lite Boost).cab What do I do with these 3 files? (obviously I only use one of the badboy files, but what do I do with the Audiopara file and the other badboy file?) thanks (and will this work with my ROM?) |

OK, thanks!
I am embarrased as I am not a total tech newb, but how does one "install" the badboy cab? (I am new to windows mobile and activesync ) |

Re: TWEAKED Audiopara.csv louder earpeice, spkphone, and BLUETOOTH WORKING!!!
O.K., I guess I figured out how to install the cab file (just put the file on the mobile device and click on it from the device and it will install itself (?)).
Do I really need to use total commander or resco file explorer to add the audio file to the windows directory? Can't I just use activesync file explorer? My final question, is whether to use the "light" version or the regular version and how would I "undo" any of these changes if they either don't work for me or if I decide to first try the "light" version and then want to change to the full version. Thanks for any help you can provide |

Ok i'm getting so confused... I'm DEF a noob with all this haha Can someone please post the links that are needed to boost the system volume on a Sprint HTC Touch Pro? Also I keep saying you need to copy the files to the /windows directory. What exactly is that? How does one do that?? If you dont have time to do this I understand and I'm sure if I understood cyber jargon a lil better I could porbably go through all the posts and get this information but I suck lol PLEASE HELP!!!

It just depends how loud you want the volume to be there are a couple of cabs to choose from and download total commander for your /windows directory question then just search total commander and it will explain how it works just use the search it works |
This post has been thanked 1 times. |

Re: TWEAKED Audiopara.csv louder earpeice, spkphone, and BLUETOOTH WORKING!!!
ok, I installed the audiopara file in my windows directory and used total commander and it asked me to overwrite, which I did and it appears from the file time stamp that the new file is indeed in the windows directory of my device (HTC touch pro).
Then I moved the badboy lite file to my device and ran the .cab file and it said it successfully installed. I did a soft-reset But, I get no improvement in volume from bluetooth headset or speaker. Any thoughts? I was going to uninstall badboy lite and install the regular badboy, but I can't find badboylite on my program list to remove it. If I want to try the original badboy how do I get rid of other badboy and install the other one. Although I would think I would have noticed some volume improvement with the new audiopara file and litebadboy. Any thoughts? |

Re: TWEAKED Audiopara.csv louder earpeice, spkphone, and BLUETOOTH WORKING!!!
One additional note to my question:
I am assuming that the volume increase would be heard with Windows Media as well as phone applications? I am wondering if my phone is now louder - Haven't fully tested yet, but it may be, but Windows media (playing music) isn't any louder. If audiopara and badboy program don't increase Windows media player volume, how can I do that? |
