belay that on the podcast from Marc Gunn's page. I just tried again.. and it worked this time..tried several times today and always got a error..however.. when the phone goes into screen saver.. it does stop the music

Wait, so the files on the 1st page are not the most recent? I tested this out with 3 separate people and they all said they hear themselves as an echo.

I see two new downloads on page 6. Are those the files I should be installing? Thanks

I've tried all the files here and in deed the soun was grat but it seems to quiet down every sound in phone(alarm, taps, music, video) like a 1/10 volume, even with the sound, loudest.
the i've found this file and give-it a try. the call sound is about 20% louder, enough for me and the other sounds came back to normal, or i belive they are a little bit louder, not sure...

Just so I got this right before I mess anything up, if I install any of these cabs and don't like it, whatever resgistry they change will change back if I uninstall it right?

I have the loud file installed & I love it, but yesterday my son told me while we where talking that he was getting an awful echo on his env phone.

I asked my Wife later how my phone sounded & she said it sounded just fine.

Is this echo thing something that can come & go with a bad cellular connection??

can someone tell me EXACTLY where to put the file?
