RE: big crowd tomorrow morning. I am not sure my b/f is gonna go to that deep of trouble since he has an EVP order.. I had to convince him to get it tomorrow, if he has to run and hang in line like trying to get front row at a conference I guess he'd turn away... If it were me, I'd be camping out I get so lame about things like that! And I'm not close enough to go camp out for him.

Best Buy in Shakopee, MN. I purchased today. The phone was 299 with a 2 year contract or upgrade. I upgraded mine. They also have the reward zone deal where if you use your reward zone card you get another 20% off (til Nov 1 I believe). I payed 255 for a brand new HTC Touch Pro and so far it rocks. Best Buy is doing 299 straigt up where the Sprint stores are 399 up front and a 100 dollar mail in rebate.

Bought my Touch Pro this morning (Saturday 10/25) at Best Buy, Westbury, New York.
$239 + tax after 20% off. Sweet price. When I got there, the salesman told me he got 6 pieces in today. He sold 2, I got the third and another customer was waiting behind me for one. No 6 week wait for rebate. Transferred all my apps and data. Generally my experience is not light years different from my Mogul. But I do sense the faster processor speed and faster web connections. Absolutely no regrets.

my friend and I had to drive an hour to newnan georgia to get it. We got the last two. Loooks like there were about 25-30 HTC TP in georgia. Next shipment is unknown.

I too made the trip up from SD to Murietta this morning to get the Touch Pro. Were you able to or did you try to get the 20% Reward Zone discount? I printed off the page and showed it to them and after the manager came over, she stated that the 20% was already built in to the $299 price and wouldn't budge. Would've been nice to save the $60...

sigh, what a retarded manager. At least at my store they couldn't get the coupon working so they just price matched it at 20% off.
