Do this.
Install personalizer and then run it.
Hit the space bar one time and then ok.
You will no longer see a carrier or anything there but a black space.

Root, have you been able to cook Personalizer in a ROM? I've tried numerous times, but it never sticks.

looking good man and it's easy just upload pix to imageshack or photobucket and then you copy and paste the img code from wherever you dl your pix to your thread post and it will appear

I am using Energy ROM also, what version are you using? What steps did you do to get it setup like this? I like how this setup is instead of the titanium setup.

I blew up one of the dusk backgrounds, I posted the pic below if anyone wants it. It's a little grainy as it's more than twice the size it was. I still think it looks cool...

Hey Sharkie what would be the chances of getting the files for the bottom bar and buttons. I have been searching for exactly which files are responsible for them but have come up empty for the most part for some reason.

Well I don't think I'm doing it the easiest way persay, but I modded the file abb_SKBackground from Calkulin's Flamerise theme files. I have also changed it by modding the XXXX_softkeybar in the SYS\Themes_DPI_192 folder in my (RZ's) kitchen. The "XXXX" stand for whichever theme it is in the folder. I.E. - dvfgreen_softkeybar, isaacmizrahipurple_softkeybar etc... The problem with that approach for me was that I didn't want to have to set a theme to get my taskbar. Since Calkulin's is cooked in and overrides all others initially, I just went that route instead.

If you know how to set a certain theme as the default always or how to implement only the taskbar, let me know...

The top bar in Calkulin's Flamerise files is called abb_Taskbar, but I can't find that in the SYS folder anywhere. I tried to change XXXX_pivot_background in the SYS files thinking that was the top taskbar, but no luck...

I have found that Max TTM can change both to what ever color you want or make them extend the background picture. The only issue is that the bottom bar is always off because most of his work is for WVGA. I can make the top bar extend the background cleanly and thats really what I wanted but i have been wanting to make my own bottom bar for some time. I'll take a look at see what I can do with what you gave me so far.

A More Dusk-like taskbar. I love that taskbar; I just don't want the entire theme. Now I have the best of both worlds. It's almost there, just needs a little more artistry to get it just right!

I think I need to lighten up the top a little bit to get rid of that ridge effect. I'm not a fan. It's good enough to roll w/for a day or two.
