Black-Out ROM

Going back to old school speed and 100% reliability for awhile... It's so much more customizable than 2.5, at least at the moment anyway. Clean, fast and hell and slick!

The htc tabs is part of the slider icons cab installed and here's the clock cab.

why not just update flash from the stock rom to a custom rom?? you will be happier and problem will be solved :)

The icons look good. I was following your progress over in Root's themes thread. Glad to see you finished them up. I was going to try and make my own at some point hear shortly when I get the time. This is why we love WM and manila!

Thanks Sharkie it was fun that's for sure. I'm not really a manila guy. I like Titanium it just got boring and i wanted a new look. Nobody had what I wanted so yes in true WM fashion I made my own.

from what it looks like in the pic (im guessing) if it's the top of the all white notification tabs go to settings and turn alerts to off if that is the ones i think im looking at,if that dosen't work hide the slider so i can see a lil bit more of them so i can tell exactly which ones they are

yeah i actually flashed back to 2.1 just now and i tried it as well,won't let touchflo kick in,im gonna talk to the developer of the app and see if he has any clues,his screenshots show it works,at least for him lol

if you already have max manila uninstall it, install the dusk theme, SR,then install max manila 2.6 over the theme.
i had max installed and installed dusk over that and it wouldn't let me hide the tabs or use fullscreen so i uninstalled max manila and reinstalled it and and after a SR it was there,for some reason when dusk is installed over max manila it messes with the tabs and full screen functions, hope it helps

I would cook that in a version of RootRom but everyone seems to be using that look now. :)

thanks root!!! i was testing to see if it would work good on rstg's latest release and since everything lined up i wanted to share it lol,looked good with max over it too,but i agree with you everybody is on this look and i personally recall a black themed rom discussion between two ppl.............that's what im waiting on from both of ya lol

I made a new slider similar to max's clear slider for Sense 2.5, but it's for manila 2.1. I made it from scratch using photoshop! Sorry, I get pretty proud of myself sometimes. The more I look at it the more I see it still needs a little work, but then again, around here nothing stays the same for long. I'll probably make one that's totally transparent. I was thinking Black-Out ROM when I made it; so it's got a slight tint to it. I still think it looks hot.

It's got slight shading issues around the sides as you can see in the lighter pictures. It's barely noticeable on the phone. I didn't notice right away because of my standard black background. I'll work on that too at some point.

Anyway, I know 2.1 is old news these days, but if you're running it, try my cab out and let me know what you think...
