Do a search for Sense2.5 transparency mods and you should come up with a site or two that will have a clock transparency cab. I'd post one, but I'm at work and am unable.

I believe he his actually looking for a clock background transparency so do a search for that. Most clock mods will either change it or make it transparent.

Kind of off topic but you guy seem pretty savvy when it comes to themes. Would one of you be able to tell me what file controls the color of the border around pictures in the people tab? Default is a white border but I would like to change it. Any help?

The white border leads me to believe you are using Manila 2.1? If so, I believe these are the pngs/files for the white border around the pictures in the people tab. I believe you have to edit these (not exactly sure why there's two) w/a photo editor to whatever color you want it to be. There's not an image for just the border alone.

If I'm wrong, perhaps someone can correct me :)

Are you talking about the border that also displays the contact name?
If so that is a manila file.
You will need a manila editor to extract the png to edit.
Then you will need to replace that png on the manila file with your edited png.
At work and I forget the exact manila file name.
Very easy to mod it though.

Depending on whos rom you are running and what theme is on it, the default could be any color.
My roms have silver,black, white, red ect.

I am pretty sure that it is a manila file also. I have tried several that appear to be the right one but nothing works.

And for clarification I am talking about this white area.

Been trying to change the contact tab white border using the files I posted and a couple of others I found that I thought might be it and it's not working so I don't know...

Are you on a custom ROM? I'm sure there is one out there that's slim enough for you. Have you tried Root's SlimRoot ROM? My own personal Sense 2.5 ROM is pretty slim, I believe. I only cook in Sense, so there's a lot less stuff of the bat because Titanium isn't there. I figure, I NEVER want to use Titanium over Sense so why even bother cooking it in! My ROM usage usually sits at about 90m-95m free out of 200m. Fresh after soft reset it sits at about 110m free. Those numbers are right now with CHT and CHT Editor installed. Could your TP handle that?

Root's slim is running 2.1 if i am not mistaken. My TP is only showing about 114mb of ram available. no worries though.

Ah, maybe you're right. It's been a while since I ran his slimroot. That would make sense.

On a side note, I've decided to buy an EVO in June (hopefully) when Sprint releases it. Gotta check out android and Sense. I'm pretty stoked. It's a bad ass phone besides that too!

Got all my CHT set up regedits cooked in and here's my ROM out of the gate with the CHT look that suits me best. It's so incredible!!!

My old slimroot was 2.1 but the new slim is 2.5.

I'm at work and can't post the cab, but if you do a search for kimi_sae_ireba_sense2.1_RetractableSlider.cab, I'm sure one of the first few links will have the cab posted. It's a fairly common 2.1 mod.

I'll check back later when I'm home and if you've not gotten it yet, I'll post it.

I don't post my ROMs, yet. I go back and forth between whether I want to or not. I'm not sure that I want to put in the commitment that I feel a released ROM should have. We'll see. Thanks though! :)
