yeah they wouldn't give me my 150 discount since i was 7 days too early....instead i only qualified for the 75 and that meant price was 459.99. Still would have been 390+ after taxes and 20% discount. I said i'd wait 7 days. All 3 of the best buys near me have a bunch of pros. One even had 3 on display. None of them would give me my discount 7 days early.

I'm getting ready to head to Best buy in Maryland to pick one up. I need to head to Sprint first to return the Diamond. I went to Best Buy first to make sure everyone was on the same page. I was amazed that it's really not too much larger than the Diamond.

I was told too that they were $749 from a bb mobile employee. Whomever has purchased one, what was the retail price? How did the discounts break down?

All of the pricing is clearly explained on the front page of the Best Buy info thread. $749 is the price for the phone without any contract. If you wanted to buy just the phone with no discounts, that's the price. With a 1-year it's $459.99, if I'm not mistaken, and with a two-year it's $299.99.
