cyberon voice commander

Does anyone know if the Pro will have this program like the Diamond? Its suppose to be like VoiceSignal but with more advance features such as playback of music, checking up comming appointments and launching applications. It was such a pain on the Mogul and Touch to record a name for each person in my address book.

Yes, it will have it. It's called Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) (On pg. on 86 of Sprint the manual)

The Telus Diamond came with Microsoft's Voice Command, not Cyberon's. Can't comment on the Sprint (Diamond or Pro), and I'm not going to download the manual to check it out. But the MS software does what you talk about, and I've found it works reasonably well.

I've seen a few posts in this thread and the Diamond thread that refer to this.
Does the Sprint Diamond (and then the Touch Pro) come with MSVC as stock?
Or do they both have the Cyberon program?

I just looked at the Sprint Touch Pro manual, and it looks like they're using MSVC, not Cyberon. The Cyberon Voice Commander documentation also suggests that they're not using that software either.

But I don't have a Sprint device, so I can't verify either.

I dunno... All I can say is that the Sprint manual looks more for the MS product than Cyberon's. Either way, it's probably not Cyberon's Voice Speed Dial, which was the one you had to record a tag for each contact. So you'll get the functionality you're looking for, I think.
