Its exclusive for best buy to have the phone. The reason best buy wanted this date was due to they would be the first business to have the phone available for purchase besides telesales and EVP. So that means no sprint store or other providing store would have the phone, so majority of store sales would go to them for the first few weeks.

Due to FCC approved the phone without the heat shield sprint not HTC is held reliable for it. They dont have to do a recall of any type on the phone, Now here is what sprint and HTC are expecting. With the Pro release they already suspect a large majority of diamonds to be returned or exchanged. If the marjority hits a certain amount and from what is explained to me the part will be added.

Any chance of getting a good deal on "refurb" diamonds?

We are not pushing any refurbs of the diamonds yet, due to the discussion of the heat shield and issues

so if evp and telesales were allowed to get the phone before BB before why do they have to wait now?... bb will still be the only physical store with the phone this weekend if they allow telesasles and evp to go along with the orders this weekend....
