bad thing is that is against policy, but oh well thats life plus I used to run a forum before the provider was shutdown and helping is what I like to do.

Off for another conference call, steveholtam Verizon is on this conference call I will check with them on that to see if I was provided the wrong information on the processors for there corp since this one is with there designers, I see if I can get a statement of what they want to do as of crippling.

It happened to me. They let me order it on the 19th. Checked the order and it turned out to be a Mogul. They told me to just refuse delivery and I should try to order it again in 48 hours. I am chatting with someone from ecare right now and they are telling me that the Touch Pro is still not available, so there's really not a lot you can do. Complaining wont work because they will just say the agent made an 'honest' mistake.

Thanks for checking about the processor. I'm buying the Sprint version, but I have co-workers that work on ARM chips. We know that Qualcomm IS the only vendor making these chips for these phones. And currently they are all based on the same basic ARM11 chip. But each vendor, Sprint, Verizon, etc. decides on the bells and whistles (speed, radios, even camers) they want to put into their model, and that decides the price to them.

Sorry, can't remember where or who posted it. I felt bad for them, but at the same time, they listened to 1st tier reps (which is the last thing I'll ever do) as if they had the most up to date info.

I do remember that one guy got a mogul (think that was in the thread that was closed) and the other guy got a Touch.

-EDIT- Forgot to mention that you should check your invoice. Should've received an email of some sort that would indcate exactly what is being sent to you.
