Just called TeleSales (Overseas) and Employee TeleSales (US), the lady from TeleSales said she had no idea on it but it wasn't out after checking for 10 minutes and the guy from Employee TeleSales said it was not out as soon as I asked about it. It said since TS doesn't list a release date on it yet it is VERY unlikely it will be dropped today, but I will try again later.

i really must say I've never seen ANYTHING like these 2 bungled launches that sprint just fumbled with the Diamond and the Pro, both times without even the courtesy of official announcements of the delay or unified communication to all branches of their customer service points... it's really
ing how they've handled them both.... and how they've treated us all in the process.

CNET and Engadget reported the delay of the TP release earlier in the week
I mean seriously if the entire 3 dates for a release wasn't a big hint I don't know what is. What's more is AT&T may be releasing this phone first. Who knows maybe big red will shock us and release it first (if only in my dreams but it is nice to dream for big red right? Right) At this point I may as well wait for an alltel branded version, at least movement into a vzw system may be easier |

Well just as I thought it is not available yet. I just got off the phone with the business account telesales (emp discount dept) and the woman I spoke with said there have been tons of calls on the htc touch pro and that most reps have been told to make notes on where the customer heard of the 19th launch date because it is incorrect. She kept asking me where I heard of the 19th launch date and was actually noting my account. I told her that was an official release date from sprint given last month and that various employees have told me it shows up as the 19th in their system. She would not give me another date and said nothing was guaranteed. She was even asking for names and departments of the people that told us the 19th. I'm guessing someone higher up is a bit angry about all of these missinformed customers and they want to get to the bottom of it.
