i emailed retentions also after getting nowhere on the phone with them. the rep emailed me back and was apologizing like crazy when i said i was taking all my lines to tmobile for the G1. his supervisor called me back and said she was gonna order me a touch Pro on monday when she gets to work

I was offered the $150 2yr ext. plus an additional $100 for being a long time loyal customer with perfect payment history and then the $100 MIR bringing the phone to $199. Is this about as low as Sprint is willing to go do all think? Or should I try for more?

I don't think there is one. Just call and ask for retentions. You obviously have a shot at a better deal if you're not on contract. They don't need to retain you if you're going to pay ETFs

Just wanted to throw my two cents in here. I had the Apache, then was upgraded free to the mogul last March (had gone through three pretty quickly and had to call with alot of complaints, finally one email did the trick). Two weeks ago I sent an email to customer care about my Mogul (USB port was loose internally, store rep said physical damage and wanted my $50, also said this was becoming common on this phone). I recieved full retail price for the Mogul and used it to get a free Diamond. Emailed them again today and confirmed that I can return it to the store tomorrow, call them to have the $550 applied back to my account, then they will ship me the Pro. They also said in the email I got today that tomorrow is the day, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Bottom line: Apache -> Mogul ->Diamond -> Pro......haven't spent a dime yet and my contract expires in December.

I will never call Sprint again, it's all about the email baby
