Yeah it did take a while to switch to landscape you can see the icons and notice she kept looking at the screen. i'm sure if she was giving a review instead of a first look that would have been pointed out. but i have seen some videos that show the device responding quickly. October 19th huh we will see...

This video was posted before and I made the similar statement of how slow it appeared. But you gotta think how many people had their hands on that thing messing with it on that day, god only knows how many programs could have been running in the background at the time that could have slowed it down.

very possible that the reviewer opened a tons of apps to test it, and only hit the Home or Back Button to the TF3D without closing these applications.

even if there weren't a ton of apps open, lets just pretend like she just turned it on. i always like to think worst case scenario, that's gonna be fixed within the first week with these custom rom chefs on the case! the hardware is there to make this a phone that works ridiculously fast. its up to these cheft to take it apart and tweak it so it'll work to its full potential. i just hope nfsfan can somehow make this phone the one it is supposed to be. and when he does, i hope you guys know where to find his roms lol.

its hard to tell how long it took the shot kept changing and id bet dollars that there was a ton of stuff open b/c lets face it the cnet people are morons anyways to being with. It was at CTIA so people were prob playing with it and didnt close apps. Other videos of the Pro and reviews show its relatively quick.

I remember seeing one where they compared the Touch Pro to the Tilt and the Tilt switched to landscape quicker lol.

I am seriously hoping that with the power packed into the TP that it will have no reason to bog down..HTC owes that to its customers.

I remember that video. And the guy video taping honestly thought the pro was going to be faster. but that was the gsm version.
