Look at the markets today! We all could have invested the money we set aside for the pro and bought two pro's...lol

apparently sprint has gotten hip to what you guys have been doing and have been told not to give replacements. It was only a matter of time before they figured it out.

lol can someone please explain to me what tha heck this means??? i paid full retail for the Touch Diamond $608! is this guy saying i would get the Pro for $608-$299.99? LOL????

Ok so i have been emailing sprint back and forth for a few days and thought i would post my emails and maybe it could help one of you.

Dear Sprint Customer Service Specialist,

I have been to the sprint store several times and expressed my concerns
with the mogul along with the problems I have. I am not sure if they are
documented of if they just listen to me and hope they are resolved in
software updates.

Since I am not sure about what has or has not been noted to my account I
will list the issues biggest I currently face with the mogul:

1) Poor Bluetooth connectivity with just about all of the
Bluetooth devices I have tried. Callers complain about static and choppy
sound. The Bluetooth abruptly disconnects from the headsets. I have
tried about 8 or 9 different Bluetooth headsets.
2) The Mogul tends to freeze often sometimes with no programs
even running.
3) I sometimes and unable to answer calls because the send button
wont respond and the touch screen wont recognize me hitting the talk
button. The only way I fix this is by restarting the phone
4) I have had the phone just restart on its own several times for
no reason.
5) The device seems to be excessively slow especially when text
messaging. I find myself waiting for the text to catch up with what I am
typing. It is not uncommon for me to type a sentence and have to wait 5
to 10 seconds for it to appear on the screen.

These are the big issues I face with my mogul. This is my second or
third mogul in a little over a year I don’t remember. I have had to
bring it to the store for repair a several times. This to me is
unacceptable and it has barely been over a year. I really do not wish to
be forced to go back to the sprint store only for them to tell me the
device is working normal or “we cleaned it”. It is clear the mogul has
inherent defects in its design and they will not be fixed through
updates.

I am aware the HTC Touch Pro has not launched yet and I have been
hearing rumors of a delayed launch. I am not asking for a prelaunch
phone. I simply would like a commitment from sprint to exchange the
phone when released.

I also have not received any calls from sprint regarding my issues and
it has been at least 48 hours since the email saying I should receive a
call from sprint within 24 hours.

Thank you for your time and I greatly appreciate sprint trying to work
with me to fix this issue.

Shortly after the email i received a call from sprint and i explained my issues again and they verified i would be exchanging the Mogul for the Touch Pro when it is released.
Now i just need them to launch the phone =)

You didnt get the instant rebate and MIR?

I would assume either of this and this is what would ask from them:
1. Price of Pro 679 - Price of diamond 609 = 79$ or
2. Price of Pro after rebates 329 - Price of Diamond after rebates 250 = 79$

Hah. I figured the same thing. We missed the gravy train, regardless if our problems are the same. Sounds discriminatory if you ask me...Oh well.

well i sent in my ecare email today and hope they will work with me on this. I bought the mogul brand new in May and about planted in a wall today, hence prompting me to finally email them and complain. Prey for me lol
