Re: scree protector/storage card

The cost to replace a pda from Sprint is now $125 or $115 I believe. My husky likes to chew on my wife's Touch. We have had it replaced twice in past 6 months. Good thing we have the coverage. A friend of mine is a tech for Sprint and warned me about the replacement cost hike. It took affect about 2 weeks ago. This last time they gave us a brand new Touch with the box and all the accessories.

Should be. You can buy from some UK sites already. I think it was posted in another link, but someone found a site to buy it for something aroudn $80+ US. I checked it out and looked pretty legit, but I'm really thinking of holding out for the 32gb.

Already available, but looks more expensive than some of the UK sites:

Re: scree protector/storage card

Upon purchasing my very first pda phone, I decided that it would be wise to invest in a screen protector. I then asked the employee in their choices of screen protectors available for the mogul. She goes to the back of the store and brings be a package of Fellowes Screen Protectors. They were the cut to fit kind.

As soon as I get home I get my mogul completely setup. I then opened the screen protector package to reveal a few protected screen protectors and a nice plastic applicator that is meant to smooth out air pockets. I proceeded to measure and cut the screen protector to it's proper size. I measured and made a damn good cut.

I installed it with little lint behind the screen then I used the provided applicator. Who the F*** tried to clean my screen protector with steel wool!?!?!?! There now was a nasty streak of lines behind. I quickly removed the scratched nonsense and recut and reinstalled minus the carbide edged applicator. Within a few minutes of installed the protector looked like crap. Every swipe with the stylus left a light permanent mark.

I removed my screen protector last night and didn't know that the mogul's screen looked so good.

Moral of this LONG and boring story: Stay the hell away from the sprint store sold Fellowes Screen protector.
