The Diamond is just the top of the Touch pro. They should have made the keyboard removable. LOL

Really, That big bulk at the buttom which looks like bigger than the main unit is only for 1 function. Why not remove it when not in use.

a removable keyboard would become annoying because the only reason you are interested in a touch pro is for its keyboard if u didnt have reason to believe that u wouldnt be using it alot then there would be no need for it period hence the diamond lovers...ok as an attachment for the diamond but not a handy option to have for it pro. not to metion possibly losing it or damaging connection ports due to frequent adding/removal

Asked about the diamond and touch pro at my local Sprint and Best Buy stores today. Sprint told me the Diamond was coming out on 9/17/08 but didn't have a date for the Touch Pro yet. Best Buy told me that they were getting the Diamond "in mid-September" and the Touch Pro "Sometime in October".

Eh......pretty much the same thing weve been hearing I guess.

Of course that is his opinion which these boards are all about. I sure that he is speaking for himself and knows that other people's opinions differ. Hence a few saying that they would like a removable keyboard and he and I agreeing that it will be an annoyance and something else to break.
