New Info on Touch Pro and Diamond

the comparison chart says that verizon diamond has 54mb ISM where the sprint victor only has 32mb. what is the ISM?

I'm guessing the verizon stuff isn't correct. If I remember right, the rumors when the mogul came out were that sprint was getting the shaft and verizon was getting a phone pretty equal to the tilt in terms of specs...

ISM stands for "Industrial, Scientific and Medical". It refers to several radio bands left "unlicensed" due to several issues.

The 2.4GHz ISM band is being made available "unlicensed" due to noise radiated from devices, the most common being microwave ovens. It's also becoming useful for technologies such as Wireless LANs, Bluetooth, cordless telephones, baby monitors, security monitoring, and several other applications using spread spectrum technology.

I am not sure exactly what it is though. I am assuming video memory maybe.

Would make sense. As much as they are pushing the graphical interface, I would think this would be a good idea.

I am not sure exactly why they are different amounts on the phones, but Verizon has more. My thoughts are it is due to the different chip sets. Here's to hoping the 7501 handles video better than the 7500.
