All the stupid ecare messages and what people heard from the store sprint rep, doesn't matter to anyone. we all know they don't know anything more then we do. anyone of us can walk into a store and ask when is it coming out, we would all get different answers. we can all echat and the exact same thing would happen.

You know I was thinking the same thing! Cause if its not sprint system how is they charging it to ppl accounts and see who can and can't get the full discount! Hmmmmm

Does anyone remember how many days before the sept. 2nd release date the diamond was pushed back? The reason that I was curious is that if you talk to sprint they are still saying Oct. 19th for the pro, and EVP saying the nov. 2nd. We are now withing 10 days of the press released date and sprint has not come out and publically said anything different.

Thanks for the Props... I think coming from the person that Directly reports to the Sales and Marketing VP I am pretty certain the information is correct.

Up until the Nov 2nd date he never confirmed any date or even hinted at a date. AS my last post stated in the "Other thread" (why 2 seperate threads who knows) but Best Buy Oct 26th and All other channels November 2nd. That news is as of Monday. If it was the 19th I think he would have stated so.

Its kinda funny I post about Rom Updates.. Same thing It wont happen sprint tells me this, that and the other... Come the date I originally posted and the Rom is there. I think I will just keep news like this to myself... Causes more grief than anything.

Actually 10/19 for telesales (and online) and 11/2 for EVP makes perfect sense. If you notice on the EVP site it notes the rebate as $130, the rebate listed on the Sprint forms through 11/1 is $100. So if EVP shipped prior to 11/2, those who preordered would get shorted $30 (we all know how sprint and MIR redemption works)

My guess is Sprint will offer some type of additional $30 savings through telesales through 11/1 to hit the released price of $299, then increase the rebate to $130 as of 11/2.

Just my $0.02, but it makes perfect sense to me.... Heres to hoping
