I'm still keeping my fingers crossed, this Diamond is kind of starting to grown on me though. I really do love the fact that you don't see anyone with them and how people always ask me what type of phone is that, and how cool it looks. But, I want my Pro!!! Damn Sprint, but I understand if their trying to work out some bugs.

yeah, i just don't understand why they would publicize that it was coming out on 10/19 at cita, doesn't it make them look like idiots? also if they didn't launch them both at the same time, then they should have left a lot more time between them so that the diamond could get its share of sales before the pro comes out.

My thoughts:
I am kinda confident that the phone through TELESALES will still be the 19th... i cant see BB getting the phone before u can even order it through sprint. I highly doubt that there is an issue with the phone. It probably just paper work issues that is making the release date scatter between telesales, BB and sprint store

I would say this topic could probably be closed by now. It seems very obvious that the date has not changed, and there was no real evidence of it being pushed back. No emails or anything. Just word of mouth which could have easily been missunderstood.

Um, I got an email directly from the EVP rep that I PRE-ORDERED from saying it was pushed back to 11/2.

All the people that have posted chats/emails with 1st tier reps at Sprint are doing the SAME exact thing that people did with the Diamond when the reports of a delay came out.

1st tier reps are always the very last people to know any delays, so if you trust them as a "credible source," that's your perogative...albeit, not a smart decision to do so.

Hello Everyone,

I also pre-ordered a Touch Pro through EVP. I received an email yesterday at 1:51pm eastern time from my EVP rep. stating that the Touch Pro's launch date is now pushed back to November 2nd. I just wanted to pass this information along.

I agree you can't say one thing and turn around to do another.... i really hope they about able to keep to this launch date. i want to be able to call tele-sales on the 19th and hears yes i can help u with that, not im sorry sir it look like we some issue w/ the phone so had to push it back...

That's just it. If best buy have it on oct 26 than what issue could they have? If that's the case it should be able to ship out oct 27th right? Not nov 2nd release date set to ship out nov 3rd. Yea I'm one of the ppl who ordered thru evpdiscount and totally confused about best buy getting it. I mean sprint would be kind to explain why cause its not adding up to ME

I don't think bestbuy will have it on the 26th.. hell they still don't even have the diamonds yet..
