So it looks like verizon is supposed to get these before the end of the year. I also take this as great news for sprint, as if verizon is getting them before the end of the year we should have them VERY shortly (hehe)

hopefully with the alltel/verizon merge, we will not be the last to get to get phones anymore (alltel)

Well since Sprint tends to get the phones (or at lease the cool ones, PDA etc.) before Verizon, doesn't that mean you will still be the last ones to get new phones? Sorry

that crap looks super heavy and super thick! what was HTC thinking! i rather have no keyboard and get the new samsung omnia! that is truly a iphone killer! htc blew it. samsung took the crown. what is apple and HTC gonna do now?

But its thinner than the mogul which is not all that bad. I rather have slightly more thickness if its going to mean years of durability (Even though I may or may not keep the phone for years). To make it thinner they would probably have to make the phone out of some type of metal (Which would dent very easy if dropped! Otherwise screens will start cracking and keyboards will detach and loose springyness.

Heh... get the diamond if you want a thinner phone with no keyboard...
