Re: Raphael/touch Pro Comin To Sprint??

Wonder if the verizon version will be cheaper due to the soon be obsolete specs? And $1000 that phone will be sitting on the shelves for a while. I'm perfectly happy with my mogul with the new update.

Best Buy has a bad habit of marking up their phones. They don't like selling them without a contract because the money they make off of a contract is more than what they make off of selling a phone full price. If I remember right, when they get a new contract signed, Sprint reimburses them for a good portion of the difference of the full price and a new contract price, and then on top of that, they get a nice commission (not the employees, the company). So I doubt we will see a $1000 device. Even if Best Buy sells it for that without a contract, I don't see Sprint doing the same.

Interesting...so basically, the only ones that would purchase from there are New Sprint customers.
