Raphael/touch Pro Comin To Sprint??

I'm not sure how Sprint can completely control this. For example, if you bought an Instinct on Ebay, how does Sprint prevent you from activating it on your existing plan when you activate online without any human intervention. Same true down the line for Diamond/Touch Pro.

There ESN database has what type of phone each ESN is. So they can have the auto switched designed to prevent the switch.

Yes, they can certainly technically do this, but do they currently to prevent the activation? If they don't and I purchase a Sprint capable device and I have a contract with Sprint, I don't see where they can unilaterally change the contract after I activate the device. It might be different if a screen were to pop up when I try to activate asking if I agree to the terms of the new agreement.

HTC report says Touch Diamond is coming to Sprint this month

Don't rule out the possibility that this is a complete and utterly ing fib, but a recent writeup in The China Post about HTC's financial situation very clearly states when the hotly-anticipated Touch Diamond is coming to Sprint: this month. If you're looking for the play-by-play, the article proclaims that the "company released its Diamond phone in Asia in June and will begin selling the handset through Sprint Nextel Corp. in August." Look, we've seen a CDMA version of this thing donning Sprint garb , we've watched it fall into the capable hands of the FCC and we know it has to arrive sometime . If all of this doesn't add up to Sprint getting the Touch Diamond in August, well, we'll let you do the math.

So if this is true than I would believe that the touch pro will be behind it shortly I hope

Even if the touch diamond come out in aug I'm still gonna wait for the touch pro I NEED a keyboard would be nice to see a sept. Release of the touch pro

I need a keyboard too. And that will give those who got the Diamond time to play with it til the Touch Pro comes out. For those of us who waited, we can get an idea of how the Touch Pro will handle apps, graphics and other things we're looking for before we upgrade. I for one am stoked.

The only oficila word of release that Sprint ever made of a phone is the Instinct, any thing else most people find it via web or store reps barely 2 weeks away from release. As for me my sources are the people who have been trying and testing the phone for the past 2 mnths. Also I may get one to test it out in a week. The prices before discounts are diamond $499.99 and touch pro $599.99 and after rebate it is 249.99 and 349.99 respectively. As a lot of people may think I pull these info from my place where the sun don't shine, but I only try to provide info without the risk of losing my job, it pays well

I also need an expansion slot- 4gigs just doesn't do it for me.
I think having no expansion slot is worse then not having a keyboard...
