Correct. Hopefully that won't be necessary... I hope sprint can just keep them =[

Completely agree, and I also hope to see that cover.. It would not flow or be the same device, without it, IMO.

its too bad the ATT Omnia is rumored to be WAY stripped down from original specs and the foreign one doesnt have the correct US frequencies. Not to mention having to switch carriers and pay more per month.

Omnia seems like a decent phone, but if any of you have ever used a Dell Axim x50v or x51v, you know what a VGA screen looks like. I used to use an Axim x50v before I got my 6800 as my PDA, and I was sadly disappointed by the difference in image quality on a QVGA screen. The Axim did have a 3.7" screen too, but the higher resolution was the glaring element. Trust me, the Omnia might have a larger screen, but it doesnt matter as much as the resolution, not when you are talking about .4" difference. Honestly, I wouldnt want to use something as wide and large as the Axim for my phone. The form factor of the Mogul was about as large as I would want it to be. The iphone is even a little too big for my tastes. Im honestly split between the Diamond and the Touch Pro now. I wish the Diamond had a microSD slot instead of fixed storage, and the larger battery. The keyboard, more RAM, and larger battery of the Touch Pro are leaning me towards that device instead.

Actually, the Axim's had the larger screen at that resolution. The LCD panels that Dell used weren't exactly the same quality and standards of today's devices. The Diamond and Touch Pro's smaller form factors mean they are using more pixels in less space which results in a much better, crisper image.

Kinda sad that on one noticed this and quickly believed everything he said. It is possible that he took the picture but I don't believe that he can even touch it as it appears to be in a convention display case.

I'm sure that some may jump on me for spreading what they call "negativity".

Hello,

from waht i've herad this device will launch mid to end october08.
Design should be black/chorme.
GPS will be enabled to work autonomous.
And a carry solution should be within the package.

Sounds good to me even I would like to have it by today.

Regards

Come on people now lets assume for a second that he doesn't have the phone, what difference would that make to me, you or anyone else who can't have it yet? The point is he provided a picture that no one else had at the time and he posted it. I don't know about you but I don't know this guy and for all we know he could actually be someone higher up on the sprints food chain, or maybe not but the point is regardless if he has it or not the rest of us aint getting the damn thing until later on in the year. Therefore don't hate just appreciate.

@ksemt - wondering if you can confirm what the MP6950 is which is appearing on sprint roadmaps online - several phone news sites are saying it is the touch dual but it seems way late in the game to be releasing the touch dual right before the pro/diamond?
