Re: Alternate carriers for Sprint TP?
think sprint and verizon are the only two cdma carriers in US :S so not much choice...
I'd go with sprint over verizon though |

Re: Alternate carriers for Sprint TP?
You can put a Sprint Touch Pro on PagePlus which is a MVNO using Verizon. There's a number of people that have done it and is my next project. For $29.95 (that's it - no tax, fee's, etc) I get 1,200 minutes, 2,000 text and 100 mb data. If that works for you check out the link to see what's involved:

Re: Alternate carriers for Sprint TP?
You can also put it on cricket or any of those other crappy regional carriers that are prepaid...
You have more choices than Sprint or VZ, they're just top tier compared to MetroPCS, Cricket, Virgin Mobile, USSC, PagePlus, etc. |

You can also take it to boost. Virgin mobile would be a better fit but don't know how hard it is to do that.

Re: Alternate carriers for Sprint TP?
No clue. Cricket doesn't give a crap one way or the other, they're just happy to get the service.
Not sure about the rest of the providers, but they're pretty crappy providers.... they probably will. |

Re: Alternate carriers for Sprint TP?
I looked into Cricket, and it looks like it's just what I wanted, if not a *bit* pricey. If I can't get on Virgin Mobile's $25/month plan, that's what it looks like I'll be going with!
Thanks for the help, guys. |

Re: Alternate carriers for Sprint TP?
I know you're not thinking of sprint but if possible you might want to look into picking up a sero 500 plan on sprint. It isn't offered anymore but there are sites where people are looking to sell theirs and transfer the plan.
with my sero +corporate discount I'm paying $20/month for 500 minutes, unlimited text/data |
