are 2 tp1's better than 1 tp2?

lol. i'm about to find out. giving my brother the tp2 and getting back both my old tp1's. now I have a hot swap backup phone wise and an extra battery/charger. I'm really looking forward to getting my d-pad and ctrl buttons back! but the screen size will once again be an adjustment.

I finally went 6.5 over the summer, but I'm looking for the most basic rom/kitchen for the tp1. no UI interface overlays, but just the finger friendly enhancements, social networking plugins for camera ect..

any input will help since Im not sure what's been going on in tp1 land.
