Re: TP keyboard quit
That's a very common problem with the TP... Although not all my TP's had a keyboard issue. 5 of the 7 replacements did.
You should do a search within the forum and you should find many words of wisdom. Some people had their TP replaced even more times due to this issue. Good luck. p. |

Re: TP keyboard quit
No... They make you pay the deductible... Not a bad deal if they replace it. If you ask me...
For example... My wife's TP has not had any issues. But if it did... I would pay the 100 bucks to have it replaced... She's dropped it so many times... That she's embarased to use it in public. It's all bashed to hell. lol. She's getting a replacement for her birthday in Nov. p. |

Re: TP keyboard quit
If you have TEP, they'll replace it. If not... gets kinda hairy. Of course if your contract is almost up they'll gladly resign ya with a new phone for a fee

Re: TP keyboard quit
Yeah... I have TEP. I may have to get that replacement... THEN... The upgrade.
That way I can have the TP as a backup phone. Right now my back up is my old Touch that I only used like 3 months. My 4 year old son uses it to watch movies on now. p. |

Re: TP keyboard quit
Im having a similar problem. did you find a fix? Sliding out my keyboard often freezes the phone, it hangs in portrait mode. Will not go to landscape. If you type on the keyboard, you won't see anything happen, but ive found out it does still work, you just can't see it. That's if it doesn't freeze up first.

Re: TP keyboard quit
Taking it apart and putting a small piece of electrical tape (about 1/4" by 3/8" and 3 layers) placing it on the cable where it exits the KB. This will place pressure on it, and should cure the issues. Of course, with anything YMMV.
