Touch Pro continually restarts

ok, well, I suppose you could see if stays on longer if you pull the card and leave the back cover off.
as you can see, I think your chips are fried/frying.

Yes, I've suspected that it's a hardware problem.

Okay so even after all that work it still isn't functioning? That sucks!

I have one last suggestion for you, try checking your battery and battery contacts. How are they looking? I did some research and found that bent battery pins can cause a phone to restart.

Also, does your phone restart when it is plugged to a power source, or only when on battery power?

Just replaced the battery a few days ago, so that's not it. I'm not sure what the contacts are supposed to look like, but they seem fine. It usually restarts when on battery but I believe it has restarted while plugged in a few times. This is somewhat, um, unconventional, but after deciding it was probably a hardware issue I put the phone in the freezer for a while yesterday morning (battery removed), and after that it hasn't restarted yet. We'll see if that lasts lol

Thanks for the help everybody. It's been a couple days now and the phone works fine. Either freezing it or tweaking the battery pins (did both before trying it) finally worked.
