Please help me unlock htc touch pro w/verizon

hi, can you please help me my cellphone is a verizon htc touch pro, but i have it connected with pageplus and i forgot the password and now it wont let me call no one or view my messages, can someone please help me I have tried almost everything.

you will probably have to do a hard reset. You'll lose all the data and settings, but you will get your phone back.

ok thanks wesscoggin and can you tell me how i would do that, sinse it does not let me log in at all am not sure how i can do that???

1. Turn off the power.
2. Press and hold the ENTER (Center) key, and then press the reset button on the bottom.
3. Release the reset button, but continue pressing the ENTER key until you see the following message on
the screen.....

well I tried it, but it turns off and then turns back on to the same thing and it wants me to put my password am i doing something wrong?

Maybe I gave you the wrong instructions. I don't remember how to do it exactly and I don't have my TP1 anymore. If you google it you'll probably find several step by steps on how to do it. One of them is right.
I do remember it has to be off before you try to do it so you may need to pull the battery first.

Instructions from the user manual

1. Turn off the power.
2. Press and hold the ENTER (Center) key, and then press the POWER key.
3. Release the POWER key, but continue pressing the ENTER key until you see the following message on
the screen.....

You can try the center button while using the reset button and see where that gets you.
