Re: Getting contacts off Touch Pro
I would recommend connecting it to the Internet and using ActiveSync to sync to Google Gmail service. This has the benefits of having free contact backups on the go, and they're easily imported into your Evo by logging into the same Gmail account.

Re: Getting contacts off Touch Pro
Sounds good. Trying to do it now though without much luck. Obviously the phone isn't connected to service right now, and I'm trying to use the wifi router in my house, but it's giving me trouble connecting.

Look in the general android forum. There is a thread there that shows you exactly what to do. Good luck. |

x2 activesync settings: server settings: m.google.com (ssl enabled). enter in your email address and password. if you want other stuff to sync, disable syncing tasks. this will break the process. if a domain is needed, just enter google. let it sync and it will pull all your contacts over. then with your evo, just enter in your google settings into android and it should pull everything over for you. really easy!
