Getting contacts off Touch Pro

I see some threads on this, but none of them seem to help. I need to get my contacts off my Touch Pro, and on to my new HTC Evo so I can give the Touch Pro to my wife. I went to the Sprint store today and they told me that they couldn't get them off. Please help!
