Yeah, I do not hardly roam at all. Have you tried a different radio to improve reception or is it just plain old hard roaming due coverage? My battery gets slaughtered when I head out to the country when it switches between 1x and EV.
I like the Telus radio BTW.

Yep, tried all the radios. Honestly, I never saw much difference. I live and work out in the sticks so I'm constantly flopping from 1X and EV. Back and forth. A couple months ago we spent a weekend in Orlando where signal was strong. Battery lasted a lot longer. You city folks are lucky in that regard. Then again, traffic sucks.
