Beta ROM Time Bomb = Me Not Happy -_-

Sooooooooooooooo...I'm pretty sure my phone just locked me out. The clock flipped to midnight and now my phone says something like, "Thank you, the beta period for this software has expired" yata, yata.

Anyway, when I plug it into the computer, my laptop makes the noise like something is connected, but I can't access any of my files. Is there any way I can either:
1) Fix the time bomb now.
2) Get my files off my phone.

...I'm extremely pissed.

I woke up to the same problem.....I'm running (well was) one of NSFANS Roms and am stuck at the same screen. Phone turns on, gets through the HTC screen, windows mobile screen, goes to load and the same message pops up and the phone becomes unresponsive. Active Sync/Rom Update Utility can't recognize the phone so I can't put a new Rom on. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix the connection so I can flash a new rom?

tazkaza I was able to get the Rom update utility to recognize my phone. Had my phone off then pressed power while holding the down volume key which brought up the three color bar screen, from here I ran the Rom update utility for a new rom and everything is back working fine. As far as your files go I am not sure how you will be able to recover files that were not on your SD card/backed up, but at least it will get your phone back.

hold the power button + vol. down key together and then using the stylus, press and hold the reset button until u see the multi color loader screen.
and then i plugged my phone in with usb . still the mobile device center won't show that there is a connection. but it doesn't matter.
just run the custom rom utility using your fav. rom and it should re-flash the phone.
