TP keeps showing new voice mail

even though I have no messages or saved messages. Anyone know how to clear this? I've dialed into my vm several times, JUST to be sure and it tells me I have no new or saved messages.. I've soft booted several times and it still comes up with 1 new voice mail message...

OH,,, btw,, is there ANY way to add the extra characters to the number dialed for voice mail so I don't have to dial them everytime? You know the *PW*5.
All my other phones would store and dial these extra characters.. All my TP will do is dial the phone number and not the extras.
