tp will only boot while holding reset

was hoping someone may be able to help me. Something weird has happened to my phone and the only way to get it to turn on is to HOLD in the soft reset button. As long as it is pushed in, the phone works, but as soon as I release the reset button, it turns off. Anyone else had this kind of problem?
