MMS Outgoing Timestamp Off by -4:00hrs. Running out of solutions to try! Help!

Here is the situation:

I have an HTC Touch Pro that sends MMS messages with an incorrect time stamp. The time stamp is behind by 4 hours (send an MMS at 4PM the recipient sees it as having arrived at 12 noon)

I've tried all sorts of potential solutions and so far none have worked:

I tried setting the "TrustTimeZoneField" to 0 in the registry. Nothing.

I tried setting the RecvTimeStamp to 1. Nothing.

I tried switching the to 1 and 0, 1 and 1, 0 and 0, respectively... and nothing.

When I look at the timestamp on the Touch Pro it shows the correct time (i.e. an MMS sent at 4PM shows that it was sent at 4PM -on- the Touch Pro but everyone who receives it gets a time stamp 4 hours in the past).

I'm not sure what to do at this point. It's really annoying to the people I send messages to.... because the 4 hour time stamp error puts the MMS messages stuck back in their threaded comments. Help!

Bump running mightrom 6.5 and the same issue. SO HATE WINDOWS MOBILE, im tired of troubleshooting this garbage. I am on Sprint btw. Same issue people get my mms 4 hours timestamp in the past.

Have you tried the official HTC timestamp hotfix?

nextohel thanks for the link. That hotfix is for the 2016 year bug that hit windows after the new year.

No fixes on this? Having the same issue going from a TP 2 to and EVO running Froyo

I am also having this issue with a TP2 and the EVO running Froyo. The EVO again is the one showing the wrong time stamp.

PS Has anyone called Sprint? It will be 2 weeks before the phones are both in front of me at the same time.
