Text Sound Interrupting Calls!

So when I'm in a call and I get a text message, a sound will blare in my ear whether my phone is on vibrate or silent or full ring. Usually, it'll ring twice for each text message. It's not even the sound I've selected for my text messages either.

Is there a way to get rid of this without a reg edit?
