HTC drops supports for HTC Touch Pro

I am just wondering if the Touch Pro model was so bad that HTC dropped support for the product after only two years http://www.htc.com Well this solves the debate that the Touch Pro will never get an official update to Windows 6.5. or any additional updates or release for that matter. I guess the Touch Pro is a dying bread.

Your right i meant to say that HTC has dropped The Touch pro from it's product line all together. I haven't found the Touch Pro listed on Sprint or At&t either. I am just curious will they eventually drop support for a phone they no longer sell through carriers or individually. It would not be a far fetched statement to say that development for such products are discontinued. Is the Touch Pro a dead or dying

here in Canada, Bell, the exclusive carrier of the TP, has removed all support for my phone. They don't even list it in the available phones for purchase. In fact, when I went to hook it to my account the vendor was surprised I even had one!

Not selling a 2 year old phone model that already has a successor doesn't mean they do not support it.

Sprint still supports the TP. It has been removed from the list of phones for sale because the TP2 is has taken it's place. Also Sprint will be updating the Tp again in the future. The current ROM is an MR for maintenance release.
