GPS, wtf

i kept quite for a long time now but can't no longer. i used a tp on cricket for a year and now on sprint for last 6 months. really, am i the only one that can get gps to get a fix withen 5 seconds without using quick gps? i wouldn't post if http://www.xda-developers.com/window...-multi-device/ hadn't crossed my path. am i the only one that gets a gps signal even though i am in BFE with no cell signal at all?
