Sprint-provided WM 6.5 update for TP? - Page 2

I was told by a technician at a corporate store (on one of my many trips to have them fix my TP) that Sprint is planning to roll Win6.5 to the TP and TP2 later this spring/summer.

Too late if you ask me, by then no one will care :/

i hear ya. tp is a dieing device, outdated and discontinued. wp7 seems like it will never come and is not what we were hoping for from last years leaked images, and add the fact that apple is suing htc for over 20 infringments. what the hell do we have to look forword to? droid...... next gen iphone....... i am really not happy with what looks to be. if i could get officail 6.5 for my dated device that could get me thru the ruff times to come. i guess i could SETTLE.

Where do you get that the TP is a outdated device? The qualcomm processor in this phone is newer than the one is the TP2, which is from 2007.
Also the TP2 has no camera flash. The TP has more standard memory and ram than almost all the newer phones. The screen is smaller, however that is okay, it fits in my pocket. Who wants huge brick phones. BTW, Apple was sued for the same reason, google law suits Apple.

You may as well call it. I got home from class yesterday and her phone had crashed again. I can't for the life of me get it to fire up.

I'm taking both units back to the same store today.

If I can get 6.5 on them (and I'm going to ask directly), I'll definitely make a dump.

If not, I look forward to being shamed and flamed into oblivion. I'll deserve it for not taking the screen shots right away.

um, a screenshot isnt anymore proof than word of mouth, wait for a dump. hes already been asked to dump it and ive already pm'ed him my contact info to walk him thru it.

until he shows back up, "im wating for this" "sum1 dump it" and "youre full of bs" posts really serve no purpose...

Fake? What do you think? This guy comes in and says he has this, but doesn't reply to requests to take a dump? (Hah!!! That sounded weird)

Hey, I know how it looks. I didn't respond earlier because I just wasn't online much yesterday. I had class all day, got home, watched some TV, and went to bed.

As for it being fake, I don't know why someone would bother "faking" something like that. What's the point?

That being said, I'm well aware that, unless I come back from the store with WinMo 6.5 installed, I'll have lost any chance at having some credibility on this site. I'll deserve it for not at least taking screen shots when I had the chance.

I hope I'll be able to come back with 6.5 and finally contribute something to this forum. If not, I'll get what I deserve.
