dead usb port, transfer files via bluetooth?

hey guys, it seems that my usb port has died on my touch pro. it will charge but will not sync up. I have tried 2 different computers, 2 different usb cables and every setting and usb port on both computers. i would like to flash it back to stock and see if i can get it replaced. is it possible to transfer files to and from my phone from my computer via bluetooth? I have a usb bluetooth adapter but am not sure how to go about setting it up. I tried using active sync with the bluetooth but it didnt work and i dont know how to use it to copy files.

Why is it always right after i make a post I am able to figure things out? Anyway, here is what I did incase anyone else ever has the same issue or question. I found this in the help of ActiveSync

First, on the computer
To set up a Bluetooth connection, do the following:

1. Open the Bluetooth Devices Control Panel.
2. On the Options tab, select Turn discovery on and Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer.
3. On the COM Ports tab, click Add.
4. Select Incoming (device initiates the connection) and click OK.
5. Note the number of the COM port that was added. The COM port number must be no higher than 20.
6. Click OK to close the Bluetooth Devices Control Panel.

Second, on the computer

1. In ActiveSync on the PC, on the File menu, click Connection Settings.
2. Select Allow connections to one of the following.
3. Choose the COM Port with the number you noted in Step 1 Set up a Bluetooth COM port.
4. Click OK.

Third, on the touch pro
In ActiveSync on the device, tap Menu, then tap Connect via Bluetooth.

I also had to create a bluetooth partnership on the touch pro, this is where I had my problems. It took 2 soft resets to get it to work right.

1. Make sure that the two devices are within close range and that Bluetooth is in discoverable mode on both devices.
2. On the device, tap Start, tap Settings, then tap Connections.
3. On the device, tap Bluetooth, tap Devices, then tap New Partnership. Your device searches for other Bluetooth devices and displays them in the list.
4. Select the name of the other device, and click Next.
5. If you want to use a passkey (recommended as more secure), enter a alphanumeric passkey between1 and 16 characters, and click Next. Otherwise, leave the passkey blank and click Next.
6. Enter the same passkey on the other device.
7. Click Finish.

After all that I am able to sync via bluetooth just the same as I could with usb, just not as fast.
